Got a little too busy to post yesterdays Dainty Outfit, but this brocade peplum blouse is too cute not to share! I picked it up online during the Moon Apparel 50% off Boxing Week Sale because I’d been eying it throughout the fall season and how could I say no to $25?! The black and gold brocade print is luxurious and the peplum is so on trend. I really like how this peplum dips slightly lower in the back, allowing the volume of the peplum to shine in the front with a slightly slimming effect for those generally shy of peplums.
I paired my brocade peplum with skinny black dress pants, suede pumps and coloured crystal jewellery. I actually picked up this stunning necklace for just $30 at LOFT and I adore the ombré effect taking the crystals from yellow to grey. I finished off this dainty look with my burgundy Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC shoulder bag, matching lips and layered on my favourite black tuxedo blazer (not pictured) to stay warm!
